Jesse C. Simmerman, age 75, of Edgewater, MD, passed away Sunday, October 7th at Heritage Harbour Long Term Care in Annapolis, MD. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Jesse and Viola Biederman Simmerman. Mr. Simmerman was a computer engineer for Hewlett-Packard. He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Michael I. Myers, age 52, of Woodstown passed away Wednesday, October 10th in the Memorial Hospital of Salem County.  Born in Mannington, he was the son of the late Norman Sr.  and Barbara Dando Myers.  Mike was a carpenter.  He is survived by his brother, Norman Myers, Jr. of Woodstown; his sisters, Donna Myers of Dundalk, MD,  Cheryl Myers of Dundalk, MD and Barbara Jean Britt of Clarksboro.  Services will be private. 

Miriam F. Gibison, age 100, of Elsinboro went home to be with the Lord October 5th. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late William and Lavania Thompson Fowser. Miriam was a homemaker who was an avid reader and a collector of cut crystal salts. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Marie Buyarsky, age 94, of Pennsville passed away Friday, September 28th, 2018 in the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Marie was born in Hazleton, PA. After 30 years of service, Marie retired from Anchor Glass as a packer. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Marie is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations in Marie's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

John Aiken Rivell, age 59, formerly of Salem passed away on Wednesday, September 19th in Alexandria, VA. Survived by his brother, Paul T. Rivell of Salem and several cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Hilda and George Rivell. John attended Salem High School, class of '77, Valparaiso University, class '81, worked and retired from Dept. of Commerce and Trade as a Patent Examiner. A Memorial Service will be held in Salem, NJ at a later date.

Louise Kacewich, age 89, of Salem passed away September 7th in Southgate Health Care Center, Carneys Point. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late William and Pauline Hall Thomas.
