Sharyn A. Haley

Sharyn A. Haley of Salem, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024, at the age of 76, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on June 15, 1947, in Lebanon, PA to Rock & Roll pioneer, Bill Haley and Dorothy Crowe.

They moved to Salem, NJ in 1948. She graduated from Salem High School and then attended Salem Community College to obtain her associate degree. She retired from PSE&G with over 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending her time at the Jersey Shore sitting along the ocean with a good Stephen King novel in her hand. She loved watching movies, listening to all genres of music and dancing with her friends. Her favorite times were spent listening and watching her granddaughter sing at various venues throughout New Jersey. The greatest loves in her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent all her time showering every one of them with so much love. She never missed any opportunity to watch them at school events, sporting events, and performing their favorite activity. Her favorite role in life was being their mom-mom and gigi. She will be missed by all of her family and also her faithful kitty companion, “OJ”. Sharyn is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her brothers, Jack (Patty) and Loyd; loving children, David (Sharnee) and Lauri (Mark); along with grandchildren, Arielle, Ryan, Keith, Hannah, Cadie, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Harmoni, Matthew, and Meadow.

Services will be private. Donations can be made to the Helen Graham Cancer Center in her honor.
