Samuel H. Jones, III

Samuel H. Jones III, age 69, of Quinton passed away Tuesday, May 16th 2023 at his home.

Born in Salem, he is the son of Samuel H. Jones, Jr and stepmother, Jean Jones and the late Eileen Drummond Jones. Before his retirement, Sam was a truck driver for S & J Transportation of Woodstown. He enjoyed traveling, tinkering with things and working on trucks. In addition to his father and stepmother, Sam is survived by his wife, Miriam Hunt Jones of Quinton; his sons, Samuel H. Jones IV (Adrienne) and Robert Jones (John) of CA; his daughters, Kristina Clark (Jeremy) of Ohio and Eileen Provencio (Ed) of SC; sisters, Sharon Heston (Jeff) of Williamstown, Sandra Gubbine (Sam) of Upper Deerfield and Traci Jones of Wilmington, DE; his step-brothers, Darin Gallagher and Douglas Gallagher; his step-sister, Donna Gharavinia; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his mother, Sam is predeceased by his step-brother, Donald Gallagher.  
 

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 19th 2023 in Lawnside Cemetery, 1017 Rt. 40, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098.
