Mary Lou Brown, a longtime Stow Creek resident, went home to be with the Lord on May 6th 2021 at the age of 88.

She was born in Alloway, NJ on September 23rd 1932 to Loren and Florence Harris. She graduated from Salem High School in 1951. On February 17th 1955 she married the love of her life, Carl C. She was known for her chicken pot pie, pepper relish, grape jelly and Brown's family birthday cake. She enjoyed traveling and had been to all 50 states except Washington. She spent many vacations in Las Vegas, NV and Atlantic City, NJ as poker and playing cards was one of her favorite past times. Her most cherished times were spent with her family hosting them for holidays, birthday parties, or any excuse she could find. Mary never missed mailing a card for any reason to those she loved and held dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; son, Charles Brown (Sue) of Blanchard Township, ME, son, Larry Brown of Stow Creek and daughter, Darlene Rosenberger (Scott) of Stow Creek; her sister-in-law Marion Spence & brother-in-law Robert Spence.  She was blessed with many grandchildren, Jason Brown, Leslie Gleason (Mike), Kevin Brown (Johanna), Allison Hider (Dan), Amanda Scoby (Rochand), Zachary Brown, Calvin Brown, Lauren English (Don), Olivia Rosenberger and Nathanael Brown; nieces, Robin Burns (Danny), Betty Moore (Jack), Brenda Brown Haun (Chris); and nephew, Brian Brown, as well as 15 great grandchildren.
