Margaret (Wiland) Young

Margaret Wiland Young, age 92, of Lower Alloway's Creek passed away Tuesday, January 21st at her home surrounded by her family. 

Born in Frostburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frank O. and Ethel G. Wilson Wiland.  Before her retirement, Mrs. Young was an Assistant Executive Director for the Salem City Housing Authority.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salem prior to her marriage to Charles H. Young, Sr. at which time the couple became members of the Memorial Baptist Church of Salem.  Mrs. young is survived by her son, Charles H. Young, Jr. (Doreen F.) of Canton; her daughter, M. Diane Wood (Sherman) of LAC; grandchildren, Deanna McCoubrie (Wes), Amanda Young (Marisa), Kevin Young (Melissa), Erica Dillion (Rob) and Craig Wood (Kasey) and great-grandchildren, Robby, Kendall, Craig, Jr., Natalie, Cole, Graham, Kolton, Riley, Konnor, Madison, Riggs and Karter.  Mrs. Young is predeceased by eight siblings, Flora, Paul, Junior, Jack, Bill, Dorothy, Anna and Tom. 

Graveside Services will be held 1:30 PM, Friday, January 24th in the Salem Baptist Cemetery York St. Salem.  Donations in Mrs. Young's memory may be made to Visiting Angels, 397 Bridgeton Pike, Mantua, NJ 08050 or Bayada Hospice, 603 North Broad Street, Suite 301, Woodbury, NJ 08096.
