Jean F. Emmons of Hancocks Bridge passed away peacefully at her home on July 24, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Richard Earl Hinchman and the late Jennie Jones Hinchman. She was born in Paulsboro, NJ on October 16, 1927. Jean attended Woodstown High School. Jean was married to the late Charles Emmons.
Jean was the sister to the late Richard Earl Hinchman Jr of Hancocks Bridge. Mother to Robert J. Fleckenstein of Hancocks Bridge, Tootsie Myers (Murph) of Quinton, Charles “Bud” Emmons (Kathi) of Harmersville. She was predeceased by her sons William R. Fleckenstein and Barry J. Emmons and her daughter Brenda K. Emmons and her daughter in law, Lois K. Fleckenstein all from Lower Alloways Creek Township. Jean was grandmother to six grandchildren and several great grandchildren with another one on the way in October.
Jean’s interests included, gardening and flowers, professional sports, farming, tractor pulls, cooking, and family get togethers, where she always brought her delicious “deviled eggs and cupcakes!”
Services are private. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Maddie and Friends at 330 Pecks Corner Road, Salem, NJ 08079.
