James “Skip” Glenn Meadows

James Glenn Meadows died peacefully at Christiana Hospital on November 16, 2022 as a result of a car accident at the age of 74. Jim (Skip) leaves behind his wife, Anna of 49 years, and three daughters: JoAnna (Scott) Jordan, Elaine (Don) Dunner, and Susan (Nick) Arnold and five grandchildren: John Rowand, Lauren Rowand, Don Dunner, Jacob Jordan and Chloe Arnold. He was predeceased by his father, James Dennis Meadows & his mother Violet Francis Hosaflook Meadows from Haywood Co., NC. 

Jim was a retiree of Atlantic Electric (Pepco Holding) where he was a control room operator and worked for the organization for 37 years in various positions. He has been retired for 16 years – doing what he loves best: hunting, fishing, working on his classic cars and attending classic car shows. He was a Vietnam veteran who earned a National Defense Service Medal from the U.S. Navy. 

A viewing will be held to honor the life of Jim at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Road, Salem, NJ 08079 (Quinton Twp.), on Wednesday, November 23rd, from 10:00-11:00AM, service beginning at 11:00AM. Burial with military honors will take place immediately following the service at the Veterans Cemetery, 719 Rt. 45, Pilesgrove.
