Hilda F (Finley) Williams

Hilda F. Williams (Finley) of Daretown departed this life on April 27, 2022 at Jefferson University Hospital long term care facility in Washington Township following a short illness.

She was 94 years of age. Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Frances (Parker) Finley and the wife of Stephen J. Williams, Jr., who predeceased her in 2008. Upon graduation from Bridgeton High School in 1945, she became employed in the accounting department at Seabrook Farms where she worked for a number of years. She had resided in Daretown since her marriage in 1949.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan W. Bedford (Les, dec’d), and a son, Thomas J. Williams (Joe Thomas), all residents of Port Saint Lucie, FL; seven nieces and nephews and eleven great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Fay F. Smith and her husband, W. Harold Smith.

Hilda was an active member of the Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church where she was a long time member of the choir.
Services will take place in the church at 11:00 AM, June 11th. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
