Dolores Case-Kaya, age 80, formerly of Hancock’s Bridge and Salem, passed away at home on June 28th.  Dolores, known affectionately by many as “DeeDee”, worked as a waitress at Howard Johnson’s Restaurant and the Woodstown Diner through the 70’s, 80’s, and into the 1990’s. Dolores left the Salem County area in the mid-90’s, relocating with her husband, Abdullah Kaya to Central Ohio. There, Dolores and her husband owned and-operated multiple diner style restaurants. In recent years, they moved to Buena, NJ where Dolores retired. Dolores enjoyed knitting, talking with family, listening to talk-radio, and even an occasional Budweiser.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Abdullah Kaya, a sister Bonnie Sayers (Robert), sister-in-law, Barbara Case, nephew, Keith Simpkins (Chrissy), niece, Kristi Hunter (Curt), nephew, Bryan Case, great-nieces, Emily
