Deborah L. Zarin, 59, passed away at her Alloway Township home surrounded by her family in the early morning hours of September 8, 2021.
Debbie was sent home to be with the Lord after a two year courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Debbie was born in Mannington, NJ on March 6, 1962. Beloved wife, mother and friend, Debbie’s family was her entire world. A beautiful person inside and out, love and kindness radiated from her and touched every person she met. The wife of Ronald Zarin, Debbie and Ron would have been married 30 years on October 4th.Debbie was a graduate of Woodstown High School and Salem Community College.
Prior to becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom, she was an Assistant Vice President at Chase Bank. More recently, she had worked for Alloway Township School District as an instructional aide, and most recently the Salem County Sheriff's Department as an administrative assistant. She was a member of the Alloway Township Board of Education and has been an active volunteer with the Alloway Township School and other local organizations for many years. Debbie enjoyed traveling and spending time outdoors, especially in the mountains. She enjoyed camping, hiking, biking and nearly anything that involved spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Dana Zarin (Kenny) of Quinton, Rachel Zarin of Alloway, one son, Kevin Zarin of Alloway, and her mother Elizabeth Keen, and sister Lisa Lovell, both of Pennsville. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Lovell.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
