Bernard Joseph Windfelder II, age 58 of Waverly, FL, formerly Woodstown, NJ passed away on October 14th, 2020 at Winter Haven Hospital due to complications of Covid-19.
He was born on August 30th, 1962 in Mannington, New Jersey to the late Bonnie Jean Staton. Predeceased by his Father Bernard J Windfelder. Bernard grew up and raised his family in South Jersey. He graduated from Woodstown High School in 1981. After retiring as a mechanic from New Jersey Transit in 2012, he pursued his dream of being a Florida resident. In Florida, Bernard took on a part time job as a carpenter for a resort as well as using his skills to flip houses. As we all know, there was nothing impossible for him to fix and make into a masterpiece.
Bernard is survived by his children Jacklyn Windfelder (Dan Haaf), Brittany Windfelder (Mark Dolbow) and Jonathan Windfelder, and his grandchildren Gianna Dolbow, Audrey Dolbow, Austin Dolbow and Scarlett Haaf. He is also survived by his siblings Mark Windfelder (Paulina), Bernadette Fisher (Mike) and many nieces, nephews, Aunts’, Uncles’, and cousins’ whom he loved very much.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 13th, WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. The Viewing will be open to friends from 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm. Due to current regulations a Private Service will begin at 8:00 PM.
