Alice Saunderlin Obituary

Alice Kathyrn Jerrell Saunderlin, age 90, of Quinton, N.J.,  passed away on Wednesday  March 18, 2020.  Alice was under the care of Hospice at Inspira Medical Facility, in Vineland, N.J.     

Born in Bridgeton, N.J.,  Mrs. Saunderlin had lived most of her life between Millville, Bridgeton, and Quinton, N.J.  She had lived in Bradenton, Florida for 15 years during retirement, before returning back to this area. Alice was the daughter of Robert B. and Elizabeth Griner Jerrell.  She is survived by a brother, Lawrence Jerrell of Pittsgrove, a sister, Dorothy Jerrell Smith of Millville,  children: William E. Saunderlin [Beth] of Alloway, Connie Williams [Dave] of Woodstown, and Joy Chilkotowsky [Bill] of Voorhees,  seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A homemaker, she enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles, being with family and friends, and enjoyed watching the Phillies.  Alice also enjoyed antiquing and baking. Alice was pre-deceased by her husband, William V. Saunderlin, who passed away in 2006.             

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  As an expression of sympathy, contributions in Alice’s memory may be made to the Quinton Ambulance Corps., P.O. Box 257, Quinton, N.J. 08072, Salem County Historical Society,  83 Market St., Salem, N.J. 08079 or any local charity of your choice.
