Lynn Cawman, age 71, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018.
Born in Salem, she was a lifelong Elsinboro resident. Lynn was a very active woman who owned & operated Cut-N-Curl and the Oakwood Inn with her late husband D.L. Cawman. Lynn loved spending time with her family, companion Michael and relaxing and enjoying the sunsets on her beach with a glass of wine. She also enjoyed playing golf, boating, traveling and spending time with friends. Lynn is survived by her daughter Denise Sparks (George); grandchildren Shannon Glanzel (Brian), Jesse Austin (Amber), Caitlyn Sparks and Cortney Sparks (Bryan); “great-grandbabies” Karsyn, Luca, Elena, Parker and Brynlee. She is also survived by her significant other Michael Catalano, and nieces Kim and Gwen. She is predeceased by her mother, Mary Duke-Sheppard, father Charles Sheppard, sister Lois Sheppard and husband D.L. Cawman.
A Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Fri., August 3rd at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Oak Street, Salem where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Elsinboro Fire Co., 35 Delaware Ave., Salem, NJ 08079.
