Lillian Finlaw

Lillian Finlaw, age 96, of Lower Alloways Creek passed away Wednesday, December 19th in Golden Nursing Center.

Born in Hancock's Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Rhulon and Denelia Davis Dawson. Lillian once was a waitress for the Westwood Restaurant in Hopewell. She attended the Canton United Methodist Church and the Canton Baptist Church and was a 1941 graduate of Salem High School. Lillian is survived by her sons, Richard Johnson (Lisa) of Salem and Martin Johnson (Denise) of LAC; her daughter, Ruth Morrissey (John) of LAC; stepdaughters, Jane Finlaw of Canton, Linda Wilde (John) of Canton and Alice Willis (Robert) of Greenwich; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband, William Johnson and her second husband, John L. Finlaw.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 22nd in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Canton Baptist Cemetery.
