In 1972, she initiated and managed the student center snack bar, prepared and served dinners to the Board of Trustees, and later transitioned into an office aid and mail clerk position at the Salem County Community College. She retired in 1992. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, knitting, quilting, making beaded Christmas stockings, doing crossword puzzles and reading. She enjoyed traveling to various Ruritan conferences, and visiting various family members in different parts of this country. She spent much of her summer time with family and friends at her shore property outside Ocean City, NJ. The last four years she has been a resident of Merion Gardens Assisted Living in Penns Grove.
