Abi M. Atkinson, age 83, of Wilmington, DE, passed away May 11, 2017. Raised in Elsinboro, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. & Naomi Miller Atkinson. She is survived by her brother Russell Atkinson (Linda) of Quinton.. She is predeceased by her siblings Charles McMichael, Robert Atkinson, Thomas Atkinson, Clifford J. Atkinson, Naomi Magsam and June Leap. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and her many friends in Delaware. After Salem High School, she attended Goldley Beacon Business School under a work study program for Speakman Plumbing Mfg. Co., where she worked for over 40 years. After retirement Abi worked as a greeter for Bellevue State Park in Delaware. She was also active in the Business & Professional Women's Club and Republican Club of DE.

Graveside services will be held 11:00A.M. Wednesday June 7, 2017 in Fernwood Cemetery, 794 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton, NJ. Contributions in her memory may be made to Quinton United Methodist Church, 354 Salem Quinton Rd, Quinton, NJ 08072.
