William F. Nielsen Jr., age 54, of Salem passed away Tuesday, August 8th at his home. Born in Bridgeton, he is the son of William F. Nielsen, Sr. and the late Lucille Foulks Nielsen. Bill was a machinist / toolmaker for Garlock Global Bearing in Thorofare, NJ. He enjoyed woodworking and NASCAR; he also was a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers. Bill is survived by his companion of 25 years, Virginia L. Crist; his sons, William F. Nielsen, III (Michael) of New Castle, DE, Jordan Nielsen (Joshua) of Plainsboro, NJ and Eric Nielsen (Brandy) of Carneys Point; sisters, Cindy Nielsen of Quinton, Patty Nielsen of Pennsville, Wendy Davis (Steven) of Alloway and Ammey Kennedy (Ed) of LAC; his grandchildren, Kylie, Kimberly, Kennedy and Charlie; his dog, Rusty; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, August 12th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 11:00 AM.
