Belva Jean (Price) Saunderlin
September 10, 1927 ~ October 16, 2017 (age 90) 90 Years OldBelva Jean Saunderlin (nee Price), known as “Jean" to family and friends, died peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2017, at 90 years of age.
Jean was born on September 10, 1927 in Springfield MO, later moving to Pennsville, NJ, where she spent most of her adult life. A loving wife to her late husband Robert Saunderlin, Jean was a proud homemaker and could always be counted on by her grandchildren for a hot meal after practice. She was a devout Christian, serving in several ministries at her church, including volunteering at the Cornerstone Pregnancy Center and Meals on Wheels. Later in life, Jean fostered a love of travel, including a cruise to the coast of Alaska and a tour of central Europe, accompanied by her daughter, Sara, and even venturing to the Holy Land. Jean loved her grandchildren and their spouses, and although they are spread throughout the country, she looked forward to receiving weekly phone calls from them all. Jean is predeceased by her husband Robert Saunderlin and daughter Sara Polk. She is survived by her daughter Mary Gallagher (Bill), son-in-law Roland A. Polk, Jr., her 6 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Although she will be missed, her family rejoices in the fact that she is finally home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23rd at Alloway Baptist Church in Alloway, NJ at 11 o’clock.
